Our Mission
We are committed to a world where widowed mothers, children, and pregnant women have the economic means to thrive. Through sustainable agriculture, social enterprises, cooperatives, and community gardens, we empower women, strengthen food security, and create a sustainable future. By working hand-in-hand with local communities, we are building a resilient and inclusive society.
Our Vision
We are committed to building strong communities with a powerful socio-economic impact by 2030. Our approach is centered on women's leadership as a sustainable development model.

Our Approach

Sigil 's Foundation intervention method is based on two complementary pillars:

Bottom-up Approach: This approach aims to strengthen communities by starting with their specific needs and developing projects that highlight their strengths and local potential. This approach puts beneficiaries at the heart of Sigil foundation intervention.

Community Approach: This method stimulates the economy by increasing the number of people engaged in productive activities through the strengthening of means to improve their individual and collective social situation.

This approach facilitates a qualitative transition from a subsistence economy to a sustainable monetary economy, capable of generating the savings necessary to empower vulnerable communities.

The main advantages of this approach are:
-
Cultural Sensitivity: The approach is adapted to the specific context of each community, thus respecting its culture and traditions.
-
Holistic Approach: By addressing both social and economic aspects, this approach promotes sustainable development.
-
Sustainability: Projects initiated by the community are more likely to succeed in the long term.
-
Empowerment: By giving communities the means to act for themselves, residents become stronger and more autonomous.

Sigil Foundation intervention method emphasizes community empowerment, sustainable development, and taking into account local specificities.
